Michelle Duggar Pregnant Again Woman Has 17 Children
Wow comes to mind when I think about this woman being pregnant again which will make 18 children once he or she is born. It’s all true, Michelle Duggar is pregnant with her 18 Th child and after watching the video the family seems to be pretty happy about it. Right now she and her husband Jim Duggar have 17 children.
First off a Happy Mothers day to all the moms and especially Mrs. Duggar and also Cogratulations to the Duggar family. Just think she will hear happy mothers day 18 times today from all her children and her husband. Two words of advise to the Jim and Michelle Duggar, SEPARATE ROOMS! The big question is how???
OK, I might be nutty but I’m not that dumb. I know how it happens, I think. But How? I was married and I have three great kids. Yeah, I try everything once and once was enough. The question how meaning, how do you find the time with 17 other children to play around, mess around, get laid, make love or call it what ever you want? I only had 3 kids and it was constant interruptions and this couple has 17 children of all ages including a 9 month old and the oldest is 20 years old. They have a ton of little kids and someone has to be crying, fighting, breaking something or whatever so the question still remains HOW DO THEY FIND THE TIME?
There is a video of the entire family below when the parents broke the news to them about her being pregnant again for their 18th child. The Duggars definitely like the letter J because all of the 17 childrens names begin with it along with the fathers name. They also have to sets of twins whose names are Jana and John-David and Jedidiah and Jeremiah. The rest of the Brady Duggar Bunch are Joshua, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah and the 9 month old baby Jennifer. Are there any names left that begin with J?
I have nothing against this family with 17 kids to be honest with you. They support themselves, look to be a happy real happy family and if they want 30 kids then God Bless them. Does anyone have any guesses as to what they will name baby number 18? You probably have noticed that after most of my posts I’ll add an advertisement that relates to the story. This one about the Duggar family and all their children had me stumped but I think I came up with a fitting one.

Britney Spears Allowed Visitation Rights with Kids
It looks like the court has granted Britney Spears back her visitation rights with her kids. After reading around it seems that Britney will get to visit her kids 3 days a week and most likely will have them on Mothers Day. Kevin Federline will still have custody of their children which he has had since I think around the beginning of October.
Britney Spears will have 3 days with her children and the visits will be supervised. The judge decided that Britney has made progress the last few months and we hope that the changes that Britney has made are for real and continue. Has Britney finally grown up and realized it’s time to put the children ahead of the party life? Time will tell. No doubt that her father is most likely making a difference in her life style by taking over her expenses and hopefully offering the guidance that a father should be offering.

As for Kevin Federline I think he really wants Britney to get it together and keep it together. His lawyer seemed happy about Britney being able to visit with her kids again and it seems like Kevin does also. Lets hope the only Oops I Did It Again we hear about Britney Spears is from her songs. American Idol Jason Castro Voted Off
Well, I don’t know about everyone else , but the girls at work and I are avid American Idol fans. We watch every week and can’t wait to discuss their performances at lunch time. This past week we were all in agreement on who should be sent home. I really like Jason Castro but he is not at the same level of singing and doesn’t seem as serious about it as Syesha, David and David. When Jason was being sent home he even made a comment about how difficult next week would be having to learn 3 songs-he was definitely relieved to be going. I guess I want David Cook to win it all but you never know. Our votes are so important.

Latest Zogby Polls for Indiana and North Carolina
Updated 5/8/08 - Yeah we already know that we did terrible with our predictions below on the Indiana and the North Carolina primaries. Zogby was right on with the North Carolina polls with Obama winning by 14%. They were off on the Indiana primary though. They had Obama winning by 2% but Hillary Clinton won by about 2% of the votes. Of course their pools have a plus or minus of something or another. All in all I think it was a bad day for Hillary getting beat in the North Carolina primary by double digits. The big question now is it time for her to toss inn the towel? Comments are more than welcome here, they are encouraged so comment away!!!
We just looked at the latest Zogby polls for the democratic primarys that are taking place today in North Carolina and in Indiana between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The latest Zogby poll has Barack Obama winning both Indiana and North Carolina. We are also keeping an eye on the Suffolk poll which along with the zogby poll was dead on with the Pennsylvania primaries. Unfortunately the Suffolk polls don’t have any numbers showing for the North Carolina primary.
Tonight will be interesting to watch to see whether Hillary Clinton can beat the odds of the Zogby poll and pull off a win in one of the states. Her best shot is a win in Indiana and all of the other polls have her winning it except for the Zogby poll. Zogby has Obabma winning Indiana by 2 percent and North Carolina by a whopping 14 percent in a poll that was conducted on May 4th and 5th.
After reading around a bit we’re thinking the Suffolk poll is probably going to be pretty close in Indiana where they have Hillary Clinton winning by 6 percent. It might not be quite that high of a victory for Clinton but we believe she will win the state of Indiana. Click Here for the latest Zogby Indiana polls.
We find it hard to believe that with the Reverend Wright controversy still fresh in the recent headlines that Barack Obama would be able to take any state right now by double digits. The Zogby polls have Obama winning by 14 percent in the recent poll for North Carolina. We are thinking that Obama will beat Clinton by about 6 to 7 percent of the votes. At one point Obama was up by as much as 16 percent in the polls in North Carolina. Click Here for the most recent North Carolina polls. No doubt in our minds and most likely his that Th Reverend Wright has hurt him. It will be interesting to see tonight just how bad his campaign was hurt.

Babies Dropped From Roof in India Ritual
We came across a story and video of babies being dropped 50 feet from a roof in India as some sort of ritual blessing. After reading around it seems that this baby dropping from roofs ritual has been going on for around 500 years and supposedly no babys have been harmed in all that time. All in the name of a religious blessing for good health and both Muslims and Hindus practice this ritual. This is another strange news story that I have a hard time with deciding what category to add it to. We just watched the video below and it’s real and you will see several babies being dropped from the roof of a temple that is in Maharashtra, India. You were warned about what you are about to see!!!

I think the first time I saw Willie Geist was on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Keith Olbermann is another person that I admire mostly for his no holds back reporting. When Keith has a point to make or at least try to make duck for cover because his point is coming at you with very little spin to it. I normally catch his show a few times a week and love his biggest winners and losers segment. OK, back to the baby’s being dropped off the roof in India. Do any of you believe that in 500 years, Five centuries of this religious blessing of dropping babies off the roof that not a single baby has been injured? I’m having a hard time believing it personally. Of course after watching the video the baby that’s thrown off the roof, I mean dropped gently off the roof does seem to land kind of, sort of gently if that’s even possible dropping 5 storys onto a cotton sheet and then takes one bounce where someone catches them on the bounce.
I’m not going to knock anyones religion so I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether this blessing ritual for good health is a good thing or a bad thing. All I can say is that I would love to see the 500 year study on the health of all these babies that were dropped from a roof in India to see how their health turned out. Chances are not too many of them are afraid of heights. Or maybe they are terrified of heights.
Man Locks Daughter in Basement for 24 Years
By now most of you have read the story about the Austrian man who locked his daughter in a basement for 24 years and fathered 7 children with her one of which was a twin that died at birth supposedly. We weren’t even going to write about this sick news story until we read about what type of sentence he faces. We couldn’t even find a category to post this under so we had to make a new one up called sick news storys.
The mans name is Josef Fritzl who is 73 years old and from Austria. He is accused of locking his daughter in the basement of his families home when she was just 17 years old. That was on August 28th, 1984. Can you even imagine being locked in a basement with no windows for 24 years along with your children that were born in the basement. The oldest daughter of the daughter that was locked in the basement after she was born is 19 years old and she is fighting for her life in a hospital right now with an undisclosed illness. Just keep Reading the numbers of how long these children and the adult daughter were without any outside life or world.
From what we have gathered the Father reportedly has abused his daughter since she was 12 years old before holding her hostage in the locked basement when she was 17 years old where he continued to rape her for 24 more years before finally having to admit it to the police in April of 2008. Here is what we don’t understand.
Supposedly the maximum sentence that he can receive is 15 years in prison. 15 years in prison for rape is the maximum sentence and if they can prove “murder through failure to act” because one of the children that he fathered died in the basement when born he would still only get a maximum sentence of 20 years. WTF, that’s less time than the oldest daughter who is 43 now I believe spent locked up in the basement and about the same amount of time that the daughter he fathered with his daughter has been locked in the basement without freedom.
No way should Josef Fritzl be sentenced to only 15 to 20 years for the sick stuff that he has done. Rape, murder, incest and kidnapping in my opinion. He deserves a life sentence for what he has put these kids through even though most likely if he does get 20 years that will be the rest of his life that he spends in jail seeing how he is 73 years old now. Word is that he will be pleading insanity in the case of course.

I can’t imagine the physiological problems that the family are dealing with right now. There is a pretty good video with an interview by MSNBC with Dr. Jeff Gardere who is a clinical Psychologist about what the kids and mother are going through and will have to deal with in their future. David Blaine Breaks Record for Holding Breath
David Blaine broke the world record for holding his breath the longest ever. He did it on the Oprah Winfield show yesterday, April 30, 2008. The old record was 16 minutes and 32 seconds. The new record for holding your breath that Blaine set is now at 17 minutes and 4.4 seconds.
David Blaine who I first saw doing some weird street magic like levitating of the ground and freaking people out as they watch is well known for these kinds of stunts. Dangerous stunts at that. I can’t even imagine holding my breath for 2 minutes let alone over 17 minutes. I have a hard enough time holding my breath in the shower just washing my face. From an article on MSNBC.com it says that he was allowed to breath pure oxygen before attempting to break the world record for up to half an hour. Believe it or not by doing that it gave him an extra 9 minutes under water holding his breath. It doesn’t get much weirder than that I suppose.

Of course if it’s weird and entertaining then most likely the talented but living dangerously on the edge Blaine is probably involved in it some how or another. If you ever get a chance to catch a TV show of his, DO IT! I guarantee you will be impressed by whatever he is trying to pull off. He is way ahead of his time and hopefully he will continue to stay healthy while trying these stunts that he does. If I were a betting man, which I am, my bet would be that David Blaine isn’t a smoker.

Miley Cyrus Apologizes for Naughty Pictures
The big entertainment news is about the racy pictures of Miley Cyrus star of Hannah Montana that are now all over the internet including the one that will be on the cover of Vanity Fair in a couple of weeks. Recent news about her was that she changed her name that she was born with which was Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus. She is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus who is a famous country singer and also happens to be one of my daughters favorite singers.
My question and of course I know the answer, is why is she apologizing? She’s a kid turning into a young woman doing stupid things that kids do. I’m talking about the pictures that her and her friends took and supposedly posted on a my space website and not the Vanity Fair pictures. Vanity Fair should be the ones apologizing for those pictures and not Miley in my opinion. Perhaps her parents should apologize to Miley for having a lapse in judgment for allowing Vanity Fair and Annie Leibovitz to take those pictures of her. Annie Leibovitz who is well know for her provocative pictures and of course Vanity Fair is going to do anything they can whether it’s using a 15 year old or whatever to sell their magazines.
Unfortunately Miley IMO pretty much has no choice but to apologize mostly for damage control which I think is kind of sad and I know most of you probably think the opposite of what I do. Once again she is a kid doing stupid kid stuff. The problem is that she is one of the most well known kids in America if not the world and is a roll model to millions of young kids. That of course is why it is big news and where the problem comes in. One of the news stations reported that one of the provocative pictures is of her in a bikini. Believe it or not that’s what most kids her age wear so what is provocative of a girl in a bathing suit that happens to be a bikini. I guess it comes down to if your a teen idol you should be wearing a one piece bathing suit from the 50’s perhaps.

Would my daughter be apologizing she were in the same position. Hell yes she would be. For the fact that Miley Cyrus makes about 18 million dollars a year now and whatever damage control needs to be done would be done. Dad would definitely see to that. She is supposedly expected to be a billionaire by the age of 21 or something like that. Miley Cyrus that is, not my daughter.
As for the pictures of Miley Cyrus posing nude which is what most of the websites are saying. It never happened unless I’m missing something other than the Vanity Fair pictures and I think the statement that Disney put out is dead on. Disney’s statement was “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” pretty much sums up this controversy and if Vanity Fair had any morals at all they would apologize to Miley for their manipulation.
Will Miley aka Hannah Montana get through this? Absolutely and she will continue to be the famous star and role model that she is. Has her reputation as a good girl been tarnished. Unfortunately by the time the news and media get done spinning this into something even though that it’s not most likely she will be tarnished a little bit. She is a good kid growing into a young woman and she has good parents so she has no reason not to keep her head up high and continue moving forward.
If I were to give her any advice and like I said she has good parents and I know she most likely gets more than enough from them it would be to stay a kid as long as you can and have fun. Just leave the cameras out of some of the fun you and your friends have.
I have to admit that I have never heard her sing before and she really does have a beautiful voice. Her old man isn’t that bad either ; ) To that I leave you with a video of Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus singing “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” together.
Woman Finds Alligator in Kitchen
You may have already heard about the woman who heard a noise in her kitchen and went downstairs to check it out only to discover an 8 foot alligator in her kitchen. We found a couple of videos online, one of which is the 911 call she made. All I can say is I am amazed at how calm the call was.
Being the sissy man that I am I can only imagine how my 911 call would have been if I found and alligator in my kitchen. For one thing the chances are my call wouldn’t have been made from the house but from a house at least a block away. My guess is the news stations showing the 911 call that the woman made would probably of had to edit the call with bleeps.

Like I mentioned I’m impressed at how calm this woman was about having an alligator walking around in her kitchen. She also has a cat and thats what they think attracted the alligator to break in through a screen. I think that cat may have used up one of it’s 9 lives if it investigated what the big thing was in it’s house.
