Woman Finds Alligator in Kitchen

You may have already heard about the woman who heard a noise in her kitchen and went downstairs to check it out only to discover an 8 foot alligator in her kitchen. We found a couple of videos online, one of which is the 911 call she made. All I can say is I am amazed at how calm the call was.

Being the sissy man that I am I can only imagine how my 911 call would have been if I found and alligator in my kitchen. For one thing the chances are my call wouldn’t have been made from the house but from a house at least a block away. My guess is the news stations showing the 911 call that the woman made would probably of had to edit the call with bleeps.

Below are 2 videos. One of the story about the woman who found an alligator in her kitchen and the other one is her call to 911 to report it.

The 911 Call

Video About the Alligator in the Kitchen

Like I mentioned I’m impressed at how calm this woman was about having an alligator walking around in her kitchen. She also has a cat and thats what they think attracted the alligator to break in through a screen. I think that cat may have used up one of it’s 9 lives if it investigated what the big thing was in it’s house.

Hillary Clinton Wins Pennsylvania by 13 Percent

4/24/08 - Just a quick update on the story below about Pennsylvania democratic primary.  Hillary Clinton ended up winning by 10 % .  We predicted 13 percent based on just reading around.  Two polls were dead on with the results.  The Zogby poll and the Suffolk polls both had Hillary winning by 10% .  We’ll be watching the future primaries coming up and see which pollsters do the best.

It will be interesting to see how the polls do with the Pennsylvania primarys today and tonight. We were looking around and came across a pretty good site that has all the major presidential polls listed and up to date polls. All of them show Hillary Clinton winning Pennsylvania with only a couple of them having her winning by double digits.

We’ve been following the Democratic and Republican primary’s and although the polls have been getting a little better at picking the winners and by how much they won by, some of them have been pretty far off for some of the primaries. We’ll check back tomorrow to see how they did on this one. You can check the recent presidential and Pennsylvania primary polls out at realclearpolitics.com and the Pa. polls are at http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/pa/pennsylvania_democratic_primary-240.html

From what I’ve been hearing Barack Obama has been out spending Clinton by something like 4 to 1 in the Pennsylvania primarys and something like 94% of the residents the have seen a commercial from him.  Take that into mind along with his great campaigning to date and the odds are he will probably only lose by single digits.  Our thinking is that the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright is going to take a bigger toll on Barack Obama than most people think.  Add the comment about the middle class people being bitter even though there was a lot of spinning about it going on brings us to think that Obama will lose by double digits.

Always remember where you are though.  Your at NutTV and we are about as clueless as they come so as always take it for what it’s worth.  It will be an interesting night though for all of us political junkies even though we can’t wait until this whole process is over with and we have a new President in the white house.

Weird, Stupid and Funny News Story’s

We just came across a section of msnbc.com that shows some of the dumb and funny news stories of the week.  You can also vote for which story you thing is the goofiest or weirdest story that they have on their website.  They call it the strangest stories of the week and a few of them are eye catching.

Just to give a few examples one of the strange news articles is about a man going to a probation meeting but running into a problem passing the metal detector.  Not too smart to bring a couple of bags of pot when meeting you probation officer in our opinion.

Another story from MSNBC is about the wife named Tricia Walsh Smith who posted all of her husbands faults and so on, on youtube.com while going through a divorce.  You can see the video below.  One thing I can only hope for is that my ex-wife doesn’t ever connect to youtube.

So far the divorce ranting by Tricia Walsh Smith has received close to 3 million views and continues to be one of the popular videos on You Tube.  That is another story that you can vote for being the craziest story of the week.

One other story that comes to mind and is a story about a thief who steal some coins worth a lot of money and deposits them at a bank but comes across a problem which I’ll leave it at that as not to ruin the story if you read it.  Anyways you can vote for the strange story of the week on the msnbc.msn.com site at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22533332/

Will Hillary Drop Out of The Race

I have so many plans for this site but it’s just a matter of getting it going and finding the time.  Right now I have another site that the media seems to like which keeps me occupied for the winter and summer months.  Hopefully this will be the second start up which will finally get nuttv.com off the ground.

The plan for the site is to blog opinions about pretty much anything including news, politics, tv shows and movies.  We’ll also be adding some videos that we find funny or entertaining.  With the elections coming up the US politics shouldn’t be too hard to find something to write about.  Of course with our spin added to it all.

Speaking of the 2008 presidential election is it just me or does it seem like it’s been going on since the last election took place back in 2004?  I think the big question right now is whether Hillary Clinton can stay in the presidential race until the Democratic convention.  No doubt she needs to win Pennsylvania and most likely she will but IMO she needs to win it by some pretty big numbers.  It’s only a few days away on Tuesday, April 22nd I believe and the polls have been going back and forth depending on which candidate has slammed the other the best for the day.  McCain has been able to pretty much just soak it all in right now with only a couple of gaffs here and there.  His turn will come once the Democratic nominee if finally decided.

One thing at least in our opinion is for sure.  No matter which of the 3 candidates running for president that win the presidential election things can only go up hill from what we have going on right now.  Lets at least hope that’s the case.  OK, enough for now just to get this blog rolling again and look for posting from here on out.
